Grant Wilfley Casting is searching for non-union actors to appear as extras in a nightclub scene being filmed for a new HBO show, according to the casting call posted on Backstage.
The show, called “Boss!”, is in need of “hip” and “trendy” actors over 18 years of age of any gender.
It says it's seeking actors from Long Beach, Long Island City as well as New York City.
Shooting is scheduled to take place on Long Island Monday, April 24, and Tuesday, April 25 in Manhattan.
About 150 to 200 people will be in the scene and there will be loud music as well as flashing lights and atmospheric smoke.
Additionally, the casting call writes that the shoot will include “a substance made out of candy/jolly ranchers to portray drugs,” and actors must be okay with taking the substance on camera.
Those hired will be paid $165 for 10 hours of work, as well as a $60 COVID test stipend (actors will need to get tested in the Bronx).
